Three cities, three very different miles costs. A Saver economy ticket from Singapore to Bali runs 8,000 KrisFlyer miles. The same cabin to Bangkok runs 13,000. And Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles to London? 44,000 one-way. That 36,000-mile gap between a long weekend in Seminyak and a week in South Kensington is roughly what a mid-tier KrisFlyer credit card returns on a year of regular spend in Singapore.
Below: the focused breakdown for those three cities, then the full Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer award chart for every destination flown direct from SIN.

Bangkok and Bali: short-haul Saver awards
Both routes sit in Singapore Airlines' Southeast Asia award zone, but Bali is cheaper. A lot cheaper.
| Cabin | Bangkok (BKK) | Bali (DPS) |
|---|---|---|
| Economy | 13,000 miles | 8,000 miles |
| Business | 25,000 miles | 22,000 miles |
| First | 38,000 miles | 32,000 miles |
Estimated airport taxes are around $50 (Bangkok economy) and $45 (Bali economy), payable in cash. According to Singapore Airlines, no fuel surcharges apply on its own flights, so the cash component is mostly government taxes and airport fees.
The 5,000-mile difference in economy is the interesting one. Bali sits further from Singapore in actual flight time than Bangkok, yet costs less in miles. A zoning quirk worth exploring if your dates are flexible.
How many Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles to London
London Heathrow sits in the Europe zone, where rates jump sharply.
| Cabin | London (LHR) Saver |
|---|---|
| Economy | 44,000 miles |
| Premium Economy | 74,500 miles |
| Business | 108,500 miles |
| First (Suites) | 148,000 miles |
Estimated taxes are only about $65 for a one-way flight departing Singapore. However, if you are booking a return ticket or flying out of London, estimated taxes jump to about $250 in economy, $400 in business, and $500 in First, per Singapore Airlines' published award fees. London Heathrow's APD (Air Passenger Duty) is the reason these cash components are higher than most other Singapore Airlines routes on the return leg.
Where the value compounds is in the premium cabins. The 64,500-mile gap between Saver economy and Saver Business is where most KrisFlyer hoarders aim. Whether that gap is worth saving for instead of taking two economy trips is a personal call.
How the three compare
A few quick projections to put the numbers in context:
- A return Saver economy ticket to Bali costs 16,000 miles. Most Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer earners hit that within 12 months on a single co-branded card.
- A one-way Saver Business ticket to London (108,500 miles) costs more than a return Saver Business ticket to Bangkok (50,000 miles), with enough miles left to fly to Bali return in economy.
- KrisFlyer miles expire 36 months after earning. Because KrisFlyer operates on a hard expiry policy, meaning new spending does not extend or refresh your miles' validity, hoarding for a Suites redemption to London carries a real shelf-life cost.

South Asia (Saver, one-way from SIN)
| City | Economy | Premium Economy | Business | First | Est. taxes (Eco) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Delhi (DEL) | 19,000 | 36,000 | 45,000 | 61,500 | $70 |

| Male (MLE) | 19,000 | 36,000 | 45,000 | 61,500 | $60 |

Oceania (Saver, one-way from SIN)
| City | Economy | Premium Economy | Business | First | Est. taxes (Eco) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Perth (PER) | 20,500 | n/a | 42,500 | 60,500 | $100 |

| Auckland (AKL) | 29,000 | 53,500 | 72,000 | 98,000 | $130 |
Perth is significantly cheaper than the east coast Australian cities, and Singapore Airlines does not publish a Saver Premium Economy rate for Perth.
Europe (Saver, one-way from SIN)
| City | Economy | Premium Economy | Business | First | Est. taxes (Eco) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| London (LHR) | 44,000 | 74,500 | 108,500 | 148,000 | $65 |
| Paris (CDG) | 44,000 | 74,500 | 108,500 | 148,000 | $200 |

| Zurich (ZRH) | 44,000 | 74,500 | 108,500 | 148,000 | $180 |
Every Singapore Airlines Europe destination prices identically in miles. The only variable is cash taxes, with London the most expensive (due to APD on the return flight) and Frankfurt or Zurich the cheapest. If you only care about getting to Europe, Frankfurt is the cheapest entry point in cash terms.
North America (Saver, one-way from SIN)
| City | Economy | Premium Economy | Business | First | Est. taxes (Eco) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| New York (JFK) | 46,000 | 84,500 | 117,000 | 156,000 | $200 |

| San Francisco (SFO) | 44,000 | 79,000 | 112,500 | 154,000 | $200 |
JFK is the most expensive single non-stop redemption Singapore Airlines publishes. LAX and SFO are priced identically. Worth noting: the SIN-JFK and SIN-EWR routes are operated as the world's longest commercial flights, and the JFK Suites cabin is the only A380 First-class option to North America from Singapore.

| Dubai (DXB) | 32,000 | 51,500 | 68,000 | 95,000 | $80 |
