SGfi.app ("SGfi", "we", "us", or "our")

By accessing or using SGfi.app (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About SGfi

SGfi provides free, browser-based financial calculators and comparison tools for the Singapore market, including credit card comparisons, miles calculators, and CPF projection tools.

2. Not Financial Advice — Important Disclaimer

SGfi is NOT licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore ("MAS") as a Financial Adviser, Capital Markets Services licence holder, or any other regulated entity.

All content, tools, projections, estimates, and comparisons on this Site are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes, or should be construed as:

  • Financial advice, investment advice, or insurance advice
  • A recommendation, endorsement, or solicitation to purchase, sell, or apply for any financial product
  • A guarantee of any projected return, savings, miles accumulation, or CPF outcome

The figures generated by our calculators are estimates and projections based on publicly available rates, official CPF Board contribution schedules, and product information current as of the date indicated. Actual outcomes may vary based on individual circumstances, policy changes, and other factors beyond our control.

You should consult a licensed financial adviser, tax professional, or other qualified professional before making any financial decisions.

SGfi is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Central Provident Fund Board ("CPF Board"), the Monetary Authority of Singapore ("MAS"), or any bank, insurer, or financial institution unless expressly stated.

3. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the information presented on the Site, including product details, interest rates, miles conversion rates, and CPF contribution rates. However, we do not warrant or guarantee that:

  • Information is complete, accurate, or current at all times
  • Product details reflect the latest terms offered by the issuing institution
  • Calculator outputs are error-free

Product information is sourced from publicly available materials. For authoritative and binding terms, always refer to the official documentation of the relevant financial institution or government body.

4. Affiliate Relationships and Compensation

SGfi may receive compensation from financial institutions or affiliate networks when you click on links to third-party products and subsequently apply for or purchase those products. Where applicable, such links are identified with an [Affiliate] or [Partner] label.

Affiliate compensation does not influence the factual comparisons, calculation logic, or ordering methodology used in our tools unless expressly stated (e.g., "Sponsored" or "Featured" placements, which will always be clearly labelled).

5. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Site
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its servers, or databases
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to extract data from the Site without our prior written consent
  • Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Site's content without our permission

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, design, graphics, logos, calculator logic, and code — is the property of SGfi or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. 7. Client-Side Processing

As described in our Privacy Policy, all financial data you enter into our calculators is processed locally in your web browser. SGfi does not receive, store, or have access to this data. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you input and the decisions you make based on the output.

The Site contains links to third-party websites, financial products, and services. These links are provided for your convenience and do not imply endorsement, recommendation, or affiliation unless expressly stated. We are not responsible for:

  • The content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites

Your interactions with any third-party product or service provider are solely between you and that provider.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law:

SGfi, its owner(s), directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any of its tools
  • Any reliance on information, projections, or estimates provided by the Site
  • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the Site's content or calculator outputs
  • Any actions taken or decisions made based on the Site's content

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SGfi and its owner(s) from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third party's rights.

11. Modifications to the Site and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
