About SGfi

Who We Are

SGfi is a Singapore-focused personal finance comparison platform. Our mission is to make local financial data accessible through free interactive tools — not static articles.

We build calculators and comparison tools, not content farms. Every page on this site is designed to answer a specific question with a number you can act on.

SGfi is independently operated. We are not affiliated with any bank, financial institution, the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board, or the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

The current toolset includes:

• CPF Contribution Calculator— projects contributions, allocation, and balances to age 65.
• Miles Calculator— a KrisFlyer earning simulator, points-to-miles converter, and award destination map.
• Credit Card Comparison— ranks Singapore miles cards against your actual monthly spending.

Where Our Data Comes From

Every number the site produces traces back to a primary source. We do not rebroadcast third-party aggregators. Data is manually verified and updated monthly.

CPF rates and allocation rules

Sourced directly from the CPF Board at cpf.gov.sg. We verify contribution rates against the published employer contribution tables and allocation ratios (OA / SA / MA) against the official CPF allocation guide. Rates on this site are effective 1 January 2026.

Credit card earning rates

Miles-per-dollar rates, bonus category caps, and annual fees are sourced from official bank product pages: DBS, UOB, OCBC, Citibank, HSBC, American Express, Standard Chartered, and Maybank.

KrisFlyer award chart

Miles and taxes by cabin class are sourced from Singapore Airlines' official redemption tables at singaporeair.com.

Points conversion, block sizes, and transfer fees

Sourced from each bank's official transfer partner page. Conversion ratios, minimum block sizes (e.g. 10,000 ThankYou Points = 4,000 KrisFlyer miles), and per-transfer fees are checked against the issuing bank's current rewards terms.

Every card entry in our dataset includes a review date. The rate tables, caps, and fees shown on the site were last cross-checked against primary sources in April 2026.

How SGfi Is Funded

SGfi is free to use. There are no subscriptions, no paywalls, and no display ads.

Revenue comes from affiliate commissions. When a user clicks through to a bank's card application page from SGfi and is approved for the card, the bank may pay SGfi a commission. Users never pay more by using our links.

Affiliate links across the site are clearly marked with an Affiliate badge.

Affiliate relationships do not influence rankings. Cards are ranked solely by projected miles earned at the spending amounts you enter. The ranking algorithm is deterministic: the same inputs always produce the same order, regardless of which cards have affiliate partnerships and which do not.

SGfi has no affiliate relationship with the CPF Board, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), or Singapore Airlines. Data from these organisations is used for educational comparison only.

Card terms, interest rates, sign-up bonuses, and miles redemption values change frequently. Always verify the current offer with the issuing bank before applying.

Spotted a data error? If you find an outdated rate, broken link, or incorrect calculation, email us. We verify and fix reported issues within 48 hours and log the correction in the card or calculator's revision history.
